We had the pleasure to work on a new restaurant project- Balsa. Inspired by their botanical name, menu and space, Balsa’s logo and other branding elements feature organic botanical forms that breathe delicateness and elegance into the brand. Paired with deep greens and classic serif the resulting brand identity is premium yet simple.
Balsa sheets inspire the menu’s wooden baseboard, the food and beverages menus are tied together with rustic twine for that extra touch of organic, botanical aesthetic. Other print collaterals include drinks coasters and menus for various events.
We had to incorporate the branding in the existing exoskeleton of the space. One can spot the organic form pattern along the walls and exterior façade, complemented by warm and bright signage around the space. A feature wall in the space is a curated display of 30 stunning vintage botanical artworks featuring herbs, florals and fruits in the restaurant's menus.
